Fall Craft Beers

Now that the fall season is officially here, it’s time for sweater weather, beautifully coloured leaves and all things pumpkin-related. But pumpkin flavours go beyond just lattes and coffees; pumpkin beers are now a staple for breweries everywhere.

For craft beer fans in Niagara, there are plenty of new fall beers available. But don’t worry! If pumpkin isn’t your preference, there are many other great seasonal options to try. Here are some great new brews currently offered at our favourite places around the region:

Over in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Oast House Brewers recently brought out their Country Bumpkin Spiced Ale and Silversmith went in a hoppier fall direction with their Mind’s IPA.

In Niagara Falls, Taps Brewery introduced a brand new Pumpkin Ale, and in Port Colborne, Breakwall Brewing’s new beers for fall are the Oktoberfest Marzen Lager and the Hip Hop Harvest Ale.

The Merchant Ale House, located right here in St. Catharines has released not one or two, but three fall beers: Pumpkin Ale, the Ale House Extra Dry and their Dankfruit IPA.

Of course, you can also get your craft beer fix and a bite to eat at local spots like Kully’s, Mahtay Cafe, and Oliv on St. Paul. In fact, Oliv’s Lobster Grilled Cheese is a fantastic meal pairing for any fall brew!
